Floral Brooch no.9

This Floral Brooches Mini Series includes 9 one-off pieces. Each one is totally unique and has been inspired by some collage work I have recently made. In order to recreate the the drawn look of the collage, I have cut every details in the clay, free hand. The vivid dark orangey-red stand out on a pale blue background. Furthermore, the addition of cobalt blue elements add depth to the brooch and make the colours pop even more. The deliberately loose and naive shapes of the graphic flowers, make the brooches very playful.

The Floral brooch no.9 is part of the Limited Editions, a mini series of jewellery in which every piece is totally unique, original and quirky.

This limited edition is exclusively available on my website. Every single piece is totally unique and would make a beautiful present for that special person in your life. I have used various techniques to create these pins and each mark is made by hand for a unique finish.

Handmade and hand crafted in Polymer Clay

Polymer clay has a smooth and polished finish and creates strong and very light weight jewellery. You’ll certainly enjoy wearing it. It holds beautiful bold colour and fine detail well. On earrings and necklaces I use Sterling Silver fittings unless stated otherwise. I make all items by hand with great care and attention to detail.

I designed and made this Brooch, in my studio in Northampton in England. Creating this limited edition series, was fun! I let my creativity flow and followed my intuitions.  Each brooch comes beautifully packaged, in a box, ready to be given as a present.
